Verse 1
So many souls have tested Him throughout the course of time.
So many still reach out to Him with broken hearts and minds.
And every one of them will say,
Without exception that they find…
Jesus never fails...
Verse 2
Even in the days of old, He brought His people through.
And then He came to show His love and died for me and you.
Then He rose again to prove,
That every story has been true…
Jesus never fails…
Chorus
Jesus never fails. Jesus never fails.
You might as well get thee behind me, Satan
You cannot prevail, because Jesus never fails.
Verse 3
Sometimes this world brings trouble I find so hard to bear.
I know I could not make it without Jesus being there.
It’s so encouraging to know,
How ever deep we’re in despair…
Jesus never fails.
Verse 4
So what can I do to prove to you, tell me how can you deny?
No untold facts, no mysteries, it’s all so cut and dried.
On the witness stand of your life,
I’ll be the first to testify…
Jesus never fails!
Repeat Chorus
I know… Repeat Chorus
You might as well get thee behind me, Satan
You cannot prevail, because Jesus never fails.
Never fails…

Encouragement during Persecution |
Dear brothers and sisters,we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering. And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering. In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.
And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power. When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people—praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him.
So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Saga of Ole Blue... Alaska |

Since the family camp up at Leech Lake Minnesota, the call to do battle with Ole Blue began. It seems that during the flood stages of the Mississippi - Fall of '85 - Ole Blue escaped and headed through the Panama Canal and on up to Alaska. He wanted to get as far away from Texas as he could. Big fish don't like Texas.
I went north, therefore, to do Missionary work first, and yet there was the whisper of Ole Blue always.
I knew right away that he knew I was there because the very first day I dropped a fishook in Crab Creek in Craig, he noticed it. The very next afternoon he sent five killer whales across the bay in front of our house as a warning to me.
Up and down the Inside Passage he followed us from Craig to Haines and from Haines to Juneau and Berner's Bay. I believe that is one reason the fishing wasn't very good last summer.

There's A Knock At Your Door |
You don't walk into some one's house without first knocking. If you are family, a son or a daughter, you can rush right in.
Your home is where you can be private. you can do what you want any time. Usually it is polite to knock first. This is something that people everywhere do. It's an unwritten law of privacy. Do not enter without permission. You have the right to say, "enter" or "don't enter."
There is an interesting verse in the last book of the bible, in Chapter 3 and verse 20. (Rev 3:20):"Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with me."
When one hears a knock at their door, he usually asks, "Who's there?" And then the person says. "I am." and then identifies himself, and then you decide to let them in and have a visit with them.
How do you know when someone is at your door?
What do you do when the door bell rings?
You are sitting at home watching the TV and there is a knock at your door. You have to either get up and open the door and ask who it is, or you can ignore the knock and let the person know that you're not at home.
Have you ever just ignored the knock?
Beloved, there is a door to the innermost part of your life - your heart. There is only one who can answer and open that door - YOU.
You can ignore the knock.
You can ignore the voice.
And you will forever be sorry you didn't answer.
Maybe you're too busy to answer the door. Maybe you just don't want to be bothered. Maybe you just don't want to hear who's there because you are afraid it will cost you something.
There are many reasons why people don't come to the door when you knock. However, there is one knock and one voice you need to hear and give entrance.
Rev 3:20, Jesus says to you:
"Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him and he with me."He doesn't ask you to come out - he wants to come IN. Jesus always knocks and speaks first before coming in the door.
There are a great number of people wanting to come in and take over your life, offer you great things that never seem to happen. There are a lot of false voices.
Jesus knocks first to let you know he is there. Jesus speaks first to calm your fears. You can either reject Him... neglect Him.. The decision is yours.
Jesus wants to come in and to give peace with God, joy of living, forgiveness of sins, and purposeful living. He wants to sit down at the table with you, eat with you, and talk with you. He will listen ("and him with me") He wants to hear what is on your heart. He wants to make you a new creature. He wants to help you, not hurt you.
All the others who come to your door want what you have, and what you can do for them. They offer false promises. Jesus offers exceeding great and precious promises. Why not, while we sing. Let Jesus come into your heart.

Thought for Today
We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls. ~Mother Teresa
